NEW ALBUM is out now! Bram Weijters´ Crazy Men - The Return.
We´re very happy and proud to present our new album.
It consist of new interpretations of Belgian (or at least with a Belgian touch) jazz rock from the seventies.
It´s based on live recordings. Then we edited this material and added overdubs and sounds
during the covid lock downs, while keeping the live atmosphere.

Our new single is our version of Nineteen Seventy Fourths, a composition played and recorded by Philip Catherine in 1974. We’ve drawn inspiration from live versions at Jazz Middelheim back then, and took our own improvisational approach and added some Crazy Men-spices.

Working on our project "Crazy Men”
Crazy Men is a quest to the roots of belgian fusion and jazzrock.
Departing from Koen de Bruyne’s remarkable album:
"Here comes The Crazy Man” from 1974,
we dive into Belgium's most adventitious music from that era.
After the première at De Singel,
we do a "Jazz Lab Series" - tour in February.

Debut album by Mazzle - Genetic Modified Art
